Let me introduce myself. I am Lynette McClain and I enjoy editing and publishing. I have worked as a writer and as an editor informally for the past 20 years as a volunteer for non-profit organizations. In this capacity, I have traveled to Nigeria to assist with fundraising and community development. I also have extensive experience writing grants and contracts. My longest stint was to serve as a contract treatment provider to the State of Colorado Youth Services. The majority of my career experiences, however, have been in the public school and community college settings, teaching English, reading, and writing.  I have a PhD in Education and an MA in Educational Psychology.
